Gene Rontal, M. D., attended undergraduate school in Ann Arbor and obtained his medical degree from the University of Michigan. Following his medical school training, he pursued a career in head and neck surgery at the University of Minnesota. He had practiced medicine in Detroit since 1972 and is a clinical professor at the University of Michigan. Dr. Rontal has authored numerous scientific publications and has lectured widely on a variety of medical subjects. He also has been quoted in Scientific American, National Geographic, and the Wall Street Journal, as well as other publications. He is the author of two mystery novels, Sterile Justice and A Lethal Dose, both SterlingHouse titles.
